A native of Washington D.C., Soprano Stephanie Lynn Miller is a graduate of The Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, obtaining both her Master of Music as well as her Graduate Performance Diploma in Vocal Performance. Recent performances include: Susanna in scenes from Le nozze di Figaro with American University Opera Workshop, Trio in Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti, Princess/No.1 in Transformations, Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro, and Flora in Le mariage aux lanternes. In 2009 and 2011, Ms. Miller received the Baltimore Music Club Award for her solo recital work at The Peabody Institute and also received the Thomas B. and Mary M. Greenslade Award in Music Performance in 2006 and 2007 while obtaining her Bachelor of Arts at Kenyon College. A true student of operatic art, Ms. Miller has also had experience directing several operas and scenes with Peabody Opera Workshop including Suor Angelica, A Game of Chance, and L’ivrogne corrige in addition to directing L'enfant et les sortilège and Gallantry with Shepherd University Opera Workshop.
Stephanie currently resides in Washington D.C. and is the Soprano Soloist and Cantor at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Rockville, MD. She is available for performances of all types (including weddings, memorial services, oratorio, recitals, concerts, and operas) as well as stage directing opportunities.
